Winter CME meeting - 2024 

The Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association invites you to attend its Winter CME Meeting.  The MOMA Winter CME Meeting is proud to offer three distinct tracks for participation. 

CME Track

Audience: Physicians / Other Providers

The primary focus and track for the conference is our Physician/Provider CME Track.  MOMA will present a quality CME program focused on advancements in diagnosis and treatment of conditions relevant to all primary care providers.  MOMA’s primary focus is on four prevalent conditions including Diabetes, CVD, HT, and Obesity related conditions.  The Winter CME agenda will include topics relevant to these conditions, other disease states, and practice management concerns applicable to primary care.  The conference will provide 20 CME Hours from Friday, January 26 - Sunday, January 28. 

Affiliate Education Track

Audience: COM Faculty and Staff, GME Staff

MOMA recently launched an affiliate education track to be held with the Winter CME Meeting.  This track features a lecture series that targets COM faculty and staff development.  Past content lectures, such as: An Introduction to the Professional Organizations in Medicine, Providing Mental Health Support for Medical Trainees, Role of Professional Advocacy, A GME Roundtable, and Career Advising for Medical Trainees.  

Trainee Track

Audience: Student Doctors and Post-doctoral Trainees

The student / trainee track is designed to include topics that are beneficial to student doctors and post-doctoral trainees.  There will be fun medicine topics covered, topics focused on early / training physician development, and a hands-on workshop for all attendees.  Trainees are encouraged to attend our Welcome Reception on Friday evening to network with practicing physicians in the area, as well as visit our Exhibit Hall where several GME Programs will be exhibiting. 

Virtual Option 

MOMA will be offering the Winter CME Meeting both live and virtually.  All live attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a virtual access pass if they would like to have the ability to view virtual lectures via the virtual conference platform during and after the event.  In addition, attendees can register for virtual only at the standard member/non-member rates. 

MOMA Members: The 2024 Dues Portal is active and can be paid as a part of the Winter CME Meeting Registration process.  MOMA has been able to maintain the same "Dues Rates" for the past eight (8) years without increase!  

Once you've completed your registration for the meeting, you will find the room block link in the thank you email, allowing you to reserve your room.  The room block registration will close on December 29, 2023 - NOW EXTENDED THROUGH JANUARY 3, 2024!
