The Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association invites you to attend its Winter CME Meeting.  The MOMA Winter CME Meeting is proud to offer three distinct tracks for participation. 

Physician / Provider CME Track

The primary focus and track for the conference is our Physician/Provider CME Track.  MOMA will present a quality CME program focused on advancements in diagnosis and treatment of conditions relevant to all primary care providers.  MOMA’s primary focus is on four prevalent conditions including Diabetes, CVD, HT, and Obesity related conditions.  The Winter CME agenda will include topics relevant to these conditions, other disease states, and practice management concerns applicable to primary care.

Affiliate COM Staff / Medical Education Track 

Last year, MOMA piloted an affiliate track, which featured a lecture series that would be beneficial as staff development for members of our COM osteopathic community.  This track was very well received from attendees, and we've decided to expand the track for this Winter CME Meeting.  Content will include lectures, such as: An Introduction to the AOA, The role of state osteopathic associations in the profession, Physician Advocacy as a Non-Physician, Providing Mental Health Support for Medical Students, and Working Smarter, Not Harder. 

Student / Trainee Track

The student / trainee track is designed to include topics that are beneficial to student doctors and post-doctoral trainees.  There will be fun medicine topics covered, topics focused on early / training physician development, and a hands-on workshop for all attendees.  Students are encouraged to attend our Welcome Reception on Friday evening as well to network with practicing physicians in the area.
